Is Clean Energy Worth It?

  1. Chunk 2 (In Your Assignments folder) - should be done
    1. Review as a class (Wed)
    2. Have partners (students who are sharing the doc together) chat in the margins of their doc and decide how they will break up the work on the doc
    3. Have students collect the necessary information to complete Chunk 2
  2. Chunk 3: Table of Values and Graph Assignment - Due Friday
    1. Review as a class (Wed)
      1. spreadsheet example
      2. example as a .pdf (may be easier to read for our iOS users)
    2. Give groups time to fill in their table of values, and start creating graphs and equations
  3. Chunk 4: Visual Representation of Findings - Due Friday March 7th
    1. Review the criteria in the class rubric together as a class (I have filled it in based on what we started with)
    2. On your own:
      1. Look at the table, graph, and rules criteria carefully to make sure you set everything up correctly and got all the information necessary in Chunk 3
      2. Look at the criteria for connections to ensure that you have added in enough additional information to put the math in context.
    3. Look at the criteria for technology/ visual presentation and create a visual presentation. As we want these to be printed and posted on a bulletin board suggested presentation tools would include:
      1. Glogster (Video Tutorial)
      2. Google Draw in Google Drive (Video Tutorial, another Video Tutorial)
      3. Something of your choice similar to Glogster or Google Draw (think poster presentation, not slide presentation)
