Linear Equations Ch 8: I can solve for an unknown variable in a linear equation by: using models, multiplying, dividing, adding subtracting, distributing, and grouping variable to one side (Ma 9F)
  1. Learn:
    1. With a friend or two try "Explore Equations" p. 322 #1-4
  2. Assignment:
    1. Chapter Review p. 330 #1-3, 2 from each section, all of section 8.4
  3. Reminder -Test Monday

Reasoning with Geometry Ch 9: I can apply mathematical reasoning and understanding of angles to find unknown angles and sides of triangles and quadrilaterals (Ma 9B)
  1. Problem Solving with Quadrilaterals (9.8)
    1. Play with these interactive quadrilaterals to find out the properties of quadrilaterals (if it doesn't work you can just draw a quadrilateral with a ruler and measure the angles to find out what they all add up to - they will always add up to the same thing)
      1. or try this one: http://www.softschools.com/math/geometry/quadrilaterals/
    2. Add a description and drawing to your page of definitions from yesterday
  2. Assignment:
    1. p. 303-304 # 1,3, 5a,c, 7a, 9
    2. p. 309 Skills # 9.1, 9.6, 9.7,  Problems # 9.7
  3. Reminder - Test Monday
